The Efinea Database, or E.D. for short, is a region wide satellite run system that stores the data of every trainer in the region. Every trainer is given an electronic profile and ID, which can be viewed through their Pokedex. All trainers are required to register their information here or else they will not be able to enter the region.
The PC Access Point is a place where you can access the data about your stored pokemon and items. Instead of using large computers, a trainer may wirelessly transfer their pokemon and items via the use of their Pokedex and Pokegear, respectfully. All pokemon and items will then be held on to and looked after at the Sunset Fields Lab as well as be withdrawn at anytime.
The Trainer Archives is a place where members can post a variety of things. Character journals, relationship plots, requests for an RP and other similar things go here.
Sunset Ranch a collective name of the many breeder ranches located west of Sunset Fields. The massive expanse of land is dotted with many Pokemon ranches, where breeders raise and breed theirs and others' Pokemon in hopes of achieving the legendary rank of Master Breeder.
Rolling plains, filled with thick and long grass that waves in the breeze. The perfect area to see the sunsets, which are the most beautiful in the region hence why they are named after them. All the buildings are kept at ground level, not going over a story, so they do not interfere in such scenic views. Which makes most to have basements or sprawling buildings in this quaint little town. The Pokemon Laboratory for this region sits in the middle of it all too, sprawling pastures that go past the town so whatever is needed in landscaping doesn't block the sunsets.
More sloping hills then rather flat surfaces, the grassy plains break up into a nice quiet town that is mostly made up of gardens, either public or private. The fragrances drift through the air, the nice breeze that lulls people into comfort. But every rose has its thorns, and that is actually a motto most people here live by. The Corridor of Thorns is the thorn of the Kakura Town. Everything that is good has its own bad to balance it out in this life full of quiet.
Foul stench, annoying fumes, odd colors of fog even on the better days. The least favorite and visited City in Efinea, it isn't just the poisonous atmosphere that keeps people away. The shady back scenes, and dump sites of industrial waste. It seems like it would be a haven for poison lovers, but with all the crime it isn't alive with hustle and bustle like it should be. The only thing keeping it from being shut down and quarantined however is the local gym, who knows who they side with though. An Efinea Rail Station can be found here.
A wetland at the end of Route 3 that has been contaminated to extreme levels by Cesspool City's pollution. A large stone path has been built over the poisonous waters to allow trainers safe passage through the marsh, though trainers must still be careful of the plethora of poison type Pokemon that live in this area. One should be careful of wandering off of the path, as there are many sink holes and deep pools in the area.
Shoryu City was once a city that took pride in it's traditions, and it's almost ancient architecture. Nowadays, however, time has begun to creep up on them, with many of the newer generation building skyscrapers and business buildings. Shoryu City from a distance looks like two eras of time fighting for the same place, with old-style inns sitting right beside radio towers and the such. Might be best to keep quiet about the culture clash, as some residents take it very personally. An Efinea Rail Station can be found here.
To the south of Shoryu City is a place that is secluded due to the large secrecy about the companies that are there. However at times the owners allow people to come by and reap some benefits for coming, such as access to foreign goods markets... or something else.
A city set along the outskirts of a massive forest, the city is actually a rather peaceful and calm place. Living together with nature, the buildings are built around the large trees of the Sylvan Forest. Some travelers may even go to the extent of calling them tree houses. Roads and pathways are haphazard though as they try to bend and wind around the trees that were already well rooted. With many gardens and farms, the city has a rural feel to it despite so many buildings and people. The civilians here live simple and positive lives, spending their time admiring the forest and its guardian spirit.
Thick tree trunks, thicker then two or more men around, fill the ancient Sylvan Forest. The canopy becomes thicker and thicker, blocking out more and more of the sky from the ground so most of the Forest is drenched in darkness. Clearings, mostly of the springs deep within, are the only places illuminated in sunlight and serve as gentle guides until the sun goes down. Ruins also seem to be scattered throughout the area covered by moss, with little trails that seem to be overrun by undergrowth that are scattered throughout. There are rumors that the entire forest has a guardian spirit, but what it is and if its true remains a mystery.
Located in the rocky crags near Sylvan Forest, lays the Ashburgh City. Juts of rock break through the ground of this rather level plain and small hills. The ground is rather warmer then normal as well from the underground magma that is nearer to the surface then most areas. However there is no volcano around, it just causes the hot springs that are dotted around the area. Almost perpetual Summer because of this phenomenon around here, all buildings are built to take the most of breezes by being very open, almost like nomad huts made of fabric.
This elevated mount of land reaches high into the skies around it and greatly spacious. A thin trail wraps up around the outside of the Plateau's slopes, weaving in and out of caves that dot the rocky expanse. However when the skies are clear, one can see the glowing stars almost perfectly no matter your location outside the area. Also seemingly being the highest point apparently attracts those who have an affinity to the moon...
Located amongst the Rocky bench of the Centra Mountain, this town has many tall and large buildings. Though most of them are for the industrial sort, to smelt and refine what comes out of the mines. A coal like heavy smoke and ash sometimes fills the airs when all the industries are going, but that is a rare occurrence unless a huge vein is found. Downtown however has many shops dedicated to Silver workings, like Jewelry. An Efinea Rail Station can be found here.
Caverns and tunnels that litter the underground, steel braces keep any cave ins from happening. Caverns are lit up that were found from the tunnels that go through or made when veins are found then mined out. However the empty caverns do not go to waste, since Pokemon tend to have a liking to them when the humans venture to other places. There are some caves though that are even unexplored, one just has to find them.
Rocky mountainside goes straight up into the sky, past the cloud line and very massive in girth. Ledges, caves, and other sorts of Niches are perfect for flying types who don't want to deal with many other Pokemon. Even further up as it gets colder. Much like the rest of the area, tunnels and caves burrow through the face of the earth of dirt and rock. Inside is rather dark as well, considering there isn't really much in the way of power and lights to come out here.
Hilly, a bunch of trees, boulders and outcroppings. It seems this City is just in bug heaven, which is a good thing considering the gym. A sprawling mostly low level City, overhands as well as many gardens of all sorts. It is very common to see many bugs, both wild and non enjoying a Sunday stroll through town with and without humans. A warning is posted at the entrances of Nebula city, along with webbing here and there. The warnings of course for anybody with a bug phobia to stay clear of the city, don't need someone running through screaming more then once a day.
A rather large expanse, of both rolling hills and a beach nevermind a bit of a forest. The Resort is for humans and Pokemon alike. A large and rather regal Hotel stands tall, overlooking the white sands of the beach along with the forest nearby. Very scenic no matter which room you are in depending on what tastes. Smaller buildings dot the rolling hills, mostly to serve food and toys for the customers. An Efinea Rail Station can be found here.
Coming off of route 13 one enters into the foreboding presence of the Darkroot Wood. The Darkroot Wood stretches across most of southern Efinea and the forest's legendary trees grow to tremendous sizes. Darkroot's thick canopy creates a barrier though which little sunlight can ever pass through, making the forest pitch dark at the ground level. Traveling through the Darkroot Wood is treacherous and many find themselves lost among the ghostly arbors within moments of stepping across the boundary. Those well equipped enough may find their way to the forest's secret village.
Those lucky enough to make their way near the center of the forest will find themselves in Darkroot Village. This small settlement emits an erie vibe. The area is dimly lit by small white lanterns hanging from tree branches and houses. The people of Darkroot village are just as unhospitable as the surrounding forest and save for the people in the small Pokemon Center it's hard to find a single person to talk with.
Past the west exist of the Darkroot Wood the landscape is bleak and rocky. Cinder Vale is a small town that sits at the gates of the Red Canyon and the River of the Dragon. The town is built high above sea level and anyone passing by will be treated to a breathtaking view of the canyon below. Cinder Vale is a popular rest stop, especially to those who has braved the forest before it and wish to move on to Torim City.
If someone were to take a heated butter knife and cut into a block of butter, then that chasm would be what the Red Canyon looks like. A great chasm filled with ledges, openings to cave systems, ladders, and ropes. The Red Canyon gets its name for the dark red, almost glittering, stone that makes up the entire area. This isn't a place for someone who doesn't have a flying type Pokemon, even if it is just for an emergency. At the bottom, cut into the jagged rock of the walls is a rather large and fast moving river with jagged rocks and whirlpools. Throughout the canyon though, roars echo, but it is unknown if it is from Pokemon or the River.
As the Canyon starts to slope down, the red rock turns into red soil and the river starts to calm down. Against its twists and turns nestle the city of Torim, which also goes up to the beach that meets the Ocean as well. The Red soil gives everything a rather interesting tinge of red, as the stone is used in the buildings of a rather shrine like look. Gardens, trees, anything really seems to not really mind the red soil however and aren't even effected color wise. A dock is even situated over the beach, the now slower and wider moving river doesn't bother it as the red tinge dissipates into the surf.
The Windchill Island is a giant iceberg which has suddenly formed in the uncharted areas off the coast of southern Efinea. Its sudden appearance has intrigued the Pokemon League and after several expeditions the island has been deemed safe to visit and cruise lines have been set up to carry trainers there. Given the time of year Windchill Island has become somewhat of an amusement attraction, with all types of trainers eager to take part in festive events, contests, and more.
Known to some as Victory Road, the Plain of Scales is a long underground passage leading from Silvermines all the way south and under the ocean. On the other side is the island that is home to the Efinea Pokemon League. Only the most skilled trainers who have acquired all eight badges will be able to traverse this unforgiving landscape. Immensely powerful Pokemon patrol every corner and every passage of this subterranean corridor and every step could be your last.
The city which is home to the Efinea Pokemon League. It stands far from the rest of the region on an island that cannot be reached except by those who have proved themselves worthy. Festivals are held here for the greatest trainers and coordinators in the world. It's a good bet that everyone you meet here is just as good, or better then you are.
Overlooking Crestfall city is a large tower which reaches up several stories and can even be seen from the mainland. The spire is home to the Efinea Elite Four and each one of them occupies one of the four levels. Defeat them and advance to the peak, if you can.

Welcome to the Efinea Region, an AU Pokemon roleplay that it set in the region of Efinea.
In a region previously not populated by pokemon, the Efinea region had lived secluded lives. However after a few years after the establishment of a Pokemon Lab in the region, there have been a flourish of pokemon from around the world migrating into the region as a new habitat. Now the Pokemon League realized the potential of the region now to train children to work with Pokemon and grow strong with them, decided to open the region as a new addition to their stands. Seeing as how the region has some strangely tough terrain for being previously uninhabited by pokemon, it will be quite a challenge but will undoubtedly produce unrivaled trainers.
Who will you be? What is your dream? Take a step forward and walk the path to a journey unique to the rest of the Pokemon Universe. Discover what lies ahead and what Pokemon await you in the Efinea Region.
